About Lois Hogg
Lois is a graduate of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba and also Advertising Art from Red River Community College. She worked from 1980 to 1994 as a freelance commercial illustrator for clients like Foster Advertising, Gordon Hill Advertising, Credo Group, Foster/Marks Advertisng, Doowah Design, McKim Advertising, Marketforce and numerous other agencies. She also worked directly for the Queen\'s Printer, the Department of Education and Training, Les Editions des Plaines, Pollard Bank Note Ltd., McNally Robinson, Queenston House Publishing, Prairie Theater Exchange, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Great West Life, Standard Aero Limited and many other clients. Since 1994 she has worked primarily as a fine artist exhibiting in numerous galleries in Winnipeg such as Main Access, Gallery 757, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Picturehook Gallery, Wayne Arthur Gallery, Birchwood Gallery, Punch Gallery, Vault Gallery, cre8ery and others. She has won awards for her work from the Manitoba Society of Artists, the Fisheries Enhancement Stamp Competition and the Festival Du Voyageur. She has served on the board of directors for CARFAC Manitoba and the Manitoba Society of Artists for many years.
